Tony Cross is entering the last year of his contract with Real Madrid, and there are still no announcements for a possible signing of a new contract.

Cross managed to start only 6 matches for Real Madrid last season under Carlo Ancelotti, and that may indicate that something is being prepared this summer.

The 32-year-old has another one-year contract, and Mundo Deportivo claims that Real Madrid is worried that they could lose him as early as next summer as a free transfer.

The same newspaper writes that the German allegedly no longer felt comfortable in Madrid and that he was already considering a transfer, which was a cause for concern in the ranks of the “kings”.
