Cefferin: Factory workers should complain, not Klopp

In an interview with the Italian Gazzetta dello Sport, UEFA President Alexander Cheferin responded to coaches Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.
They have previously complained about too many games this season.

Ceferin noted that factory workers working for a salary of 1,000 euros could protest, but not the coaches of Liverpool and Manchester City.

“The clubs have asked for ten matches in the Champions League, there will be eight, which is the right number. Leagues with 18 teams would be more useful, but club presidents disagree. You need to understand that two national cups are too many. Klopp and Guardiola protest? It is always easy to attack FIFA and UEFA, but the situation is clear. If you play less, wages go down. “If anyone has to complain, it is the factory workers who earn a thousand euros a month,” Ceferin said.
