Ronaldo: I will return to Sporting, without them I would work at McDonald’s!

Cristiano Ronaldo promised the first club in which he started his professional career.

The story of a poor Portuguese boy from Madeira who left school to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer is well known. And not just any. One of the best in the history of football.

He started his professional career in the 2002/03 season at Sporting Lisbon and has been playing for 21 seasons. His next will be 22.

He played his first and only season at home in the Lisbon Lions’ green and white jersey, then six in a row at Manchester United, nine at Real Madrid, four at Juventus and last again at Manchester United.

Today he is 37 years old and no matter how in great physical condition, the clock is ticking slowly. It is not yet known when he will come, but what is known is who will be the last club in his career.

“I will finish my career at Sporting. I have to repay them at least one more season. “They scouted me until no one saw anything special in me, they created me as a player and without them I would probably work at McDonald’s,” said Cristiano Ronaldo.
