Many of the European media claim that Cristiano Ronaldo could soon leave Old Trafford, even though he still has a year left on his contract.
Part of the media reports that a transfer to Roma under Mourinho is an option for the Portuguese footballer, and also to several other locations, such as Paris or Madrid.
Due to United not playing in the Champions League, fans fear that Ronaldo will decide to make a transfer, but now, Bruno Fernandes, who is his compatriot, thinks that Ronaldo can stay at the club.
“I hope that Cristiano stays, that next Monday he will be here with me at the beginning of the preparations. I don’t expect anything else from him, except to return,” said Fernandes.
If he stays, this will be a very strange season for Ronaldo, playing in the Europa League, the second highest quality club competition in Europe.
