Barcelona will soon finalize the transfers of two players, claims Fabrizio Romano. As previously announced, Milan’s Ivorian midfielder Franck Kesi, 25, and Chelsea’s Denmark stopper Andreas Christensen, 26, will sign as free agents for the Catalan club. They should be officially unveiled soon.

Barcelona fans feared the club would not be able to register them as weeks had passed since the announcement that everything had been agreed and nothing had happened. However, Romano says Barca immediately told the players and their agents that there would be no problems.

All this is happening while Barcelona are in negotiations for two big transfers, one incoming and one outgoing. The club is negotiating with Bayern for the purchase of Robert Lewandowski, and with Manchester United for the sale of Frankie de Jong.

Kesi comes to Barcelona after five seasons spent in Milan, for whom Atalanta paid 32 million euros. For Milan, he scored 37 goals in 223 appearances. Christensen has been a Chelsea player for 10 years. He debuted for the senior team in 2014 and had a two-year loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach. He played 160 times for Chelsea and scored two goals.
