MANCHESTER UNITED & MANCHESTER CITY TO BATTLE FOR BAYERN FORWARD

Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry, according to reports.

The Sun report that Gnabry has turned down a new contract with Bayern Munich worth just over £200,000 a week.

And whilst Bayern are keen to keep the former Arsenal attacker who has just 12 months left on his current deal, the German champions will be open to a sale if they cannot reach an agreement.

Bayern would be prepared to cash in for around £35million, as it is their last chance to demand a decent fee.

This has alerted both Manchester United and Manchester City, who are watching the situation closely.

On City’s part, though, it is believed they would only move for Gnabry should Raheem Sterling, who has been heavily linked with Chelsea, leave the club.
