1 billion € clause, Barcelona “armors” the midfield talent

Barcelona is on the way to renewing the new contract with the talented Gavi. President Laporte has confirmed that everything is nearing the end and he is very happy that the 17-year-old and his agent Ivan De la Pena have agreed to the new conditions proposed by the club’s leaders.

The craziness in terms of the agreement is the player’s release clause, since if one of the clubs wants to buy the Spaniard, they have to pay 1 billion euros.

The talented midfielder made the big step with the first team last season and made 34 appearances in La Liga, scoring two goals and providing five assists for his teammates.

Gavi has also become a very important part of the Spanish national team since coach Luis Enrique included him in the team at the age of 17. The midfielder has set a record with the national team as he is the youngest player in history to make his debut with the Spaniards.

The Blaugrana club, despite financial difficulties, is working to be competitive in all competitions in the new season. Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen are expected to be presented at the club premises within weeks to officially become Barcelona players.

Robert Lewandowski remains the main target of the market despite the fact that the Bavarian team does not allow his transfer to “Camp Now”, but the player’s desire to move to Spain has made the club leaders not to give up on the Polish striker.
