A scary accident happened at the start of the race for the British Grand Prix, on the Silverstone track, with Alfa Romeo pilot Zhou Guanyu risking his life.
Yuki Tsunoda, George Russell and Zhou Russell were involved in the accident, but Zhou ended up worse off. After a crash from Russell, the Alfa Rome driver ended up with the car overturned outside the guard walls, with the race being stopped immediately.
Zhou received immediate medical attention and was then taken to hospital, where he was listed in good condition, which then prompted the race to restart.
The miracle can be considered the rescue of the Chinese without serious damage after such an accident or as pointed out by experts, it was “Halo”, the safety device fixed in the cockpit introduced in Formula 1 and Formula 2 in 2018 that saved the pilot’s life , otherwise today could have turned out to be fatal.
