Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani is still without a club after leaving Manchester United.
The Uruguayan was not satisfied with the minutes he had at Old Trafford and decided to leave this club, but is expected to find a new club soon.
The Italian media announced today that there is a possibility for Cavani to continue his career in Serie A and that in the shirt of the new first league team Monza. After 40 years, this club is back in the company of the best and wants to strengthen the team as much as possible.
As Gianluca Di Marzio announced, Monza leaders have already contacted the experienced striker and offered him a one-year contract with an option to extend for another season.
The contacts were established ten days ago, and in Monza they are now waiting for Cavani’s answer and hope that the Uruguayan will agree to come to this club.
Cavani would thus return to Italy after nine years when he moved from Napoli to PSG for 65 million euros. He played in the Apennines while still playing for Palermo.
