The 27-year-old captain of Milan, Romagnoli, will move to another club after his contract with Milan expired.
Fulham had inquired about his services and were reportedly offering him £4million a season, but Romagnoli decided to stay in Italy for slightly less than that.
According to what is being briefed by the media in Italy, Romagnoli has decided on a transfer to Lazio, one of the hated clubs for Milan fans, so that this transfer will be remembered.
Romagnoli was also born in Rome, came out of Roma’s academy, from where he moved to Milan in 2015, but it is clear that the fans of the “wolf” will also be particularly angry with him for this transfer to the city rivals.
There is no doubt that whenever Romagnoli plays against Roma, the fans of that club will give him one hell of a welcome.
