After his contract with Barcelona expired, Dani Alves became a free agent.
However, he will not be like that for long, because he has already found himself a new club.
Even if there was talk that he could continue in La Liga, in Mallorca, it seems that, nevertheless, the Brazilian defender will change the championship, but also the continent.
According to the information transmitted by the Spanish “Sport”, Dani Alves has reached an agreement with Pumas, a team th at plays in the elite class of Mexican football, and all that remains is to put the initials on the agreement.
Dani Alves would arrive in the Mexican team as a free agent and would sign a contract for one season. As for the salary, he would receive “only” one million euros.
However, Dani Alves is not in a hurry and would first wait for the permission of Tite, the head coach of the Brazilian national team. Although he turned 39, Alves wants to play at the World Cup in Qatar at any cost.
For this reason, he wants the Brazilian coach to tell him if he will be called up for the final tournament if he signs with the Pumas.
Pumas will be Barcelona’s rivals in the Joan Gamper tournament in 2022, with Dani Alves set to return to Camp Nou against the Catalans.
