The war in Ukraine does not stop football. “Football can help us, so we will play,” Football Federation of Ukraine president Andriy Pavelko told The Associated Press.

So as reported by the media, the football championship in Ukraine will resume on August 23, with or without war. The matches will be played behind closed doors, possibly between the western regions of Ukraine and Poland.

While it is not yet known which players and coaches will represent the teams, given that many of them left the country after the start of the war.
