Teddy Sheringham, who was part of Manchester United in the past, believes that fans should not feel too sorry for Cristiano Ronaldo if he definitely leaves them.

These days Ronaldo is said to be absent from United’s tour due to “private reasons”, but on the other hand it is believed to be because Ronaldo’s agent is already working on the transfer.

Sheringham explains now that he wouldn’t be too sad if Ronaldo left Manchester United.

“If he has to leave, he will. People say that Ten Hag should build the team around Ronaldo, but if he decides to leave, it’s already over. It will open a whole new corridor for United.”

“For the money he earns, two or three people can be brought to the club for those incomes, and that is a lot of money that the club can spend in the next period. Ronaldo may still have a year or two at most of high level football and that’s it. He deserves to enjoy the games until the very end of his career,” said Teddy Sheringham.
