Former Liverpool player Jon Arne Riese has recalled a ‘golf incident’ he had with then Liverpool team-mate Craig Bellai in 2007.
Namely, at a club meeting, Bellamy attacked Riese with a golf club, and the Norwegian, after 15 years, reveals less known details to the public in a popular English “podcast”.

“I was in the room with Daniel Agger, when I heard someone come in I thought it was someone else but it was Bellamy. He was very drunk, beside himself and had a golf club in him. He screamed that he was not interested in what would happen and if he would end up in prison. Then she decided to hit my legs with it. We have scheduled a duel tomorrow at devbet in the morning.”
