Bayern’s coach, Julian Nagelsmann, confirmed the arrival of French striker Mathis Tell (17) in the club.
Yesterday, the Bavarians agreed with Rennes on the transfer of the talented teenager. The complete work has been completed for 28 million euros and soon the clubs will confirm the contract.
Julian Nagelsmann has no problem confirming that the deal has been completed and is pleased to have the 17-year-old in his squad.
“He can become one of the best strikers in the world. I think he can score 40 goals per season. I will be satisfied with 10 in the first season,” said Nagelsman and added:
“He is young and talented. He can play in several positions in the attack, he is fast and strong, he knows how to keep the ball.”
Tel will complete the transfer to Munich in the coming days. He will get the number nine shirt that Robert Lewandowski wore years ago and we will see how he does in Munich.
It’s a big deal to sign for Bayern at the age of 17 and there are certainly big challenges ahead of him.
Mathijs de Ligt, Sadio Mane, Ryan Gravenberch and Nusair Mazraoui arrived before Tela in Munich.
