French striker Mathis Tell continues his career in Bayern. Thel, the 17-year-old captain of the French cadet national team, arrived in Germany this morning to sign a five-year contract with Bayern.
In France, they call him “the new Mbappe”, and Bayern will pay Rennes 20 million euros plus eight and a half million through possible bonuses. In the youth categories of France, he scored 10 goals in 15 appearances, and last season he collected 79 minutes for Rennes.
“One day he will be among the best strikers in the world and I see him scoring 40 goals in a season in his best years,” is convinced Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann, who lost first striker Robert Lewandowski from Barcelona this summer.
