The end should have been different: Benzema informed the public – he is retiring from the national team

French forward Karim Benzema has put an end to his international career.

He informed the public today that he is retiring from the national team, after the end of the World Cup in Qatar, but he did not perform, due to an injury sustained the day before the start of the WC.

He recovered by the final and was able to play, but apparently he had some “bad blood” with the head coach Deschamps and it culminated in his withdrawal from the national team.

The Real Madrid footballer informed the sports public that he is retiring from the national team and that in the future he will devote himself only to club football.
