Ronaldo changes the laws of Saudi Arabia. The Arab state was “forced” to change its laws to favor the cohabitation of Cristiano Ronaldo with Giorgina Rodriguez, the partner of the Portuguese talent.
Until a few days ago, the law did not allow cohabitation outside of marriage. But the marital status of Cristiano Ronaldo has caused the Saudi state to change the laws in force, but only for him.
In Saudi Arabia, the law does not allow an unmarried couple to live together in the same house. For this reason, the couple has been granted a type of exemption that will allow the two engaged to live together outside of the marriage bond.
It could be a big step toward civil rights, or just a momentary favoritism for a champion who has put Saudi Arabia in the spotlight.
