The Saudi club Al-Nasr wants to hire Sergio Busquets and is ready to offer the Spaniard a salary of 13 million euros per year, “ESPN” reported.
Inter Miami is also showing interest in Busquets, with whom the player has been negotiating for several months. The midfielder has not yet reached a full agreement with the MLS club.
Al-Nasr wants to continue to strengthen with world football stars, after he managed to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Saudi club are also interested in Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, who is also out of contract in the summer.
Sources have told ESPN that Busquets considered leaving Barcelona this winter but was persuaded to stay at the club until the summer. The Catalan club is not giving up the idea of offering Sergi a new contract, as the search for a replacement for Busquets is difficult due to financial problems. The issue of extending cooperation for six months, until January 2024, was even discussed.
This season, the 34-year-old defender has made 19 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions and provided one assist.
