Dan Byrne, the Newcastle left-back, performed an exotic and strange dance in the Jackdaws dressing room after the 2-0 win against Leicester and a place in the semi-finals of the League Cup.
Byrne scored Newcastle’s opener to give the hosts a 1-0 lead in the 60th minute and the left-back scored for the first time in two years.
“The last time I played the dance, I didn’t get close to the opponent’s goals and I didn’t score for two whole years. Now I will play it and I believe that it will not be a problem for me to wait for a goal again for so long,” said Burn.
