Al-Nassr are said to be expecting Cristiano Ronaldo to end his football career at their club and hope he can stay after his current contract expires.

Ronaldo signed for Al-Nassr in December on a contract that runs until 2025, by which time he will have already celebrated his 40th birthday.

According to ESPN, Al-Nassr is “confident” the Saudi Pro League side will be the Portuguese superstar’s last club before he ‘hangs up his boots’ and has not ruled out Ronaldo signing a renewal if he wants to continue to play.
The forward made his long-awaited debut for his new club in a 1-0 win over Al-Ettifaq on Sunday. There were no goals for the former Manchester United man, but he caught the eye with a piece of skill against opposition defenders.

Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia with a huge contract surprised everyone, but he could be joined by other football stars.
Saudi FA general secretary Ibrahim Alkassim has admitted he would like to see Lionel Messi follow in Ronaldo’s footsteps, while Sergio Ramos has also been linked with a move to Al-Nassr.
The Portuguese forward and Al-Nassr will return to action on Thursday in the Saudi Arabian Super Cup against Al-Ittihad.
