Silvio Berlusconi has made a strange promise to the Monza players if they manage to win against Juventus.
The team where he is president managed to win 2-0 in Turin, until he had told them that in case of victory he would fill their bus with escorts.
Now, Berlusconi jokes: “He’s already received 100 calls asking me to keep my word” after his outlandish promise to provide the team with “a bus full of escorts” if they beat Juventus.
The promise was recorded during the club’s Christmas dinner when he suggested another way to ‘stimulate’ the players to beat one of the big teams.

The clip was shown around the world as another example of the former Italian prime minister’s often outdated sense of humor.
Monza did indeed beat Juventus 2-0 in Turin with goals from Patrick Ciurria and Dany Mota Carvalho.
Speaking to La Repubblica, Berlusconi admitted that the bus issue had gotten out of hand.
