Manchester United is planning four transfers in the summer – the positions are already known. Manchester United has identified four key areas to strengthen after Sir Jim Ratcliffe appears determined to buy the club from the Glazer Family.

The Red Devils are currently in fourth place in the table, one point ahead of Liverpool, but have played one game less. With the aim of qualifying for the Champions League in the new season, the Old Trafford team is reported to be taken over by Sir Jim Ratcliffe at the end of the season. The club has already identified four key positions for improvement, according to the Daily Express, including a goalkeeper, a right-back, a midfielder, and a number 9 on the summer transfer list.

David de Gea will sign a new contract at Old Trafford, but Manchester United is inclined to bring in a goalkeeper to challenge for the starting position. Furthermore, the report states that Manchester United ‘is open to strengthening on the right flank’, with the potential targets being Denzel Dumfries and Jeremie Frimpong. Despite Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s recent impressive form and Diogo Dalot’s good season, Erik ten Hag is still keen to bring in a right-back.

United is also said to be keen on bringing in another midfield option for the upcoming season, “regardless of what happens with Marcel Sabitzer.”

The club is believed to be unwilling to pay the 30 million euros for the Austrian loanee as he may return to Bayern Munich in the summer. Finally, Ten Hag’s team is said to be looking to sign a new player due to the inconsistent form of Wout Weghorst and Anthony Martial.

Previously, it was reported that the Red Devils might make an offer for Harry Kane once his acquisition is completed.

However, a deal with Tottenham Hotspur could prove difficult to negotiate as Victor Osimhen is also linked with a move to Old Trafford.
