Chelsea is ready to offload the Croatian midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, during the summer transfer window, and Bayern Munich and Manchester City are interested in his services.

The Croatian midfielder is said to have fallen short of expectations at Stamford Bridge, and now the club’s executives want to offload some players.

With Chelsea investing heavily in players like Enzo Fernandez and considering possible summer reinforcements, Kovacic could be allowed to leave.

According to football.london, the 29-year-old is valued at around 30 million euros but could go for an even lower price for interested clubs.

Kovacic has only one year left on his contract, and Chelsea is eager to make money from him instead of losing him for free within a year. Former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel, who is now at Bayern, is keen to reunite with Kovacic.

However, Pep Guardiola and his City team have also shown interest, especially since Ilkay Gundogan is expected to leave as a free agent this summer.
