Manchester United target Kim Min-jae gave a strong answer when asked if he could leave Napoli this summer.

The South Korean centre-back has been a key part of Napoli’s run to the Serie A title this season, helping his side to lift the Scudetto for the first time in 33 seasons.

Kim joined the Italian giants from Fenerbahce last summer as a replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly, who moved to Chelsea.

He has been one of the stars of the league, starting 34 of Napoli’s 37 games.

United have been linked with a move for the centre-back, with various media claiming that Kim has a €58m release clause that will be activated between July 1 and 15 this summer.

Italian newspaper Correire dello Sport have reported that the defender will join United once the club activates that clause, despite Napoli trying to offer him a new contract.

But the deal has yet to be finalized – and Kim has been asked about the possibility of a summer move.

“My agent is outside the restaurant, ask him!” said the 26-year-old defender.

The player left his future at Napoli up in the air, not confirming if he will leave or stay.
