The 2022/23 season in the Premier League has come to an end, with most of the teams failing to reach their targets.

Manchester City managed to defend the title for the third time, defeating Arsenal in the competition, until in the last round (38) it lost 1-0 to Brentford.

Arsenal were merciless against Wolves as they ran out 5-0 winners, with goals coming from Granit Xhaka with two, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Kiwior.

Dramatic match was between Liverpool and Southampton, after the meeting ended 4-4 in St. Mary’s Stadium.

Manchester United, on the other hand, triumphed 2-1 at home against Fulham, while in the last round (37) secured participation in the Champions League for the new season.

Chelsea, on the other hand, drew 1-1 with Newcastle United, ending their worst ever season, while the Magpies qualified for Europe’s biggest club competition.

Liverpool, Brighton and Aston Villa also qualified for Europe, with the former two playing in the Europa League, while the latter plays in the Conference League.

Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton, who will compete in the 2023/24 season in the Championship, have fallen from the Premier League.
