Michael Jordan is selling his club after 13 years

Michael Jordan is leaving the Charlotte Hornets after 13 years with the club.

The former NBA basketball player bought Charlotte 13 years ago, but has now decided to leave by selling the club.

The reason that Jordan will sell his club is that he has not achieved any success during these 13 years that he was the owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

Renowned ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski announced on his official Twitter profile that one of the best basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan, will soon no longer be the majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

The Hornets are considered one of the least successful clubs in recent years in the NBA.

Jordan will sell the club to the investment fund in New York, Melvin Capital Management, whose leaders are Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall.

He has been in charge of the Hornets for 13 years, but is nowhere near as successful an owner as he was as a player.
