Marcel Sabitzer will join a new team, but will remain in the Bundesliga.

The Austrian midfielder returned to Bayern Munich after spending six months on loan at Manchester United with the English club not deciding to buy him outright.

Bayern put the midfielder up for sale and after rejecting Roma’s offer, he accepted that of German rival Borussia Dortmund.

There is already a total agreement between the clubs, with Dortmund agreeing to pay 19 million euros plus bonuses to Bayern for Sabitzer’s services.

The officialization is a matter of days or if all goes well it could be completed today.

Sabitzer is expected to sign a long-term contract with Dortmund and is expected to have a key role in coach Edin Terzic’s squad.
