Bayern Munich are said to be interested in former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, while Manuel Neuer is yet to return to full fitness.
According to media outlet Sport Bild, Bayern are currently looking to sign a new goalkeeper, with Neuer yet to resume full training after a setback in his recovery process following a horrific skiing injury in January.
Back-up goalkeeper Yan Sommer is being linked with Serie A side Inter as he no longer wants to warm the bench when the German is fit again.
This has left Bayern searching the market for a top-quality goalkeeper and they have tagged former United goalkeeper De Gea, who left the Red Devils in June after his contract at Old Trafford expired.

Bayern have already drawn up a shortlist of potential targets should they fail to land the Spaniard.
According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, they are interested in Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, but the Serie A club do not want to part with the Polish goalkeeper.
David Raya has also entered the list, but Bayern are aware that Brentford would demand around €45m in transfer fee.
Sevilla’s Yassine Bounou, Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, Brighton’s Robert Sanchez and FC Copenhagen’s Kamil Grabara are the other options on the table for the German champions.
