The Kylian Mbappe saga continues, but according to the latest reports from Madrid, this may not be the case for much longer, as it is soon expected to come to an end.

The French striker is not on Paris Saint-Germain’s pre-season tour as they try to force him out, but it appears the only deal he wants is one with Real Madrid.

After turning down an offer to play for Saudi club Al Hilal, they believe he has already made a pact with Los Blancos.

However, Ramon Alvarez de Mon has told RadioMarca that the stalemate between Mbappe and PSG is coming to an end, claiming that “he is close to becoming a Real Madrid player”.

Alvarez de Mon went on to say that the potential fee in the game would be a world record €230 million, despite the fact that he will be available on a free next summer.

It is noted that part of this fee would be allocated to Mbappe himself, because the Frenchman had a loyalty bonus of 90 million euros with PSG if he stayed until the end of the contract.

The white flag has been waved for the Mbappe deal on several occasions before, and until the Frenchman is in the dressing room at the Santiago Bernabeu, it is impossible to say whether it will happen this time or not.

This matches an earlier report that Mbappe could arrive in Madrid within a week, but as seen before, drastic turns can happen at the last minute.
