Manchester United have rejected an offer of 25 million euros from West Ham for Harry Maguire.
The Hammers are looking for reinforcements this summer, especially after the departure of Declan Rice to Arsenal in a deal worth 115 million euros.
David Moyes wants Maguire but it is doubtful they will push further given the size of his salary and it is also unclear whether the England centre-back would be keen to make the move.
The defender is out of Erik ten Hag’s plans and made just 16 Premier League appearances last season, with Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof preferred in central defence.
The 30-year-old was also released from the United captaincy by the Dutch manager ahead of the new season.
His contract is until 2025, so the Red Devils are in no hurry to sell him below the 40 million euros they want.
