Nico Gonzalez has left Barcelona on a permanent transfer to Porto, the Catalan club has confirmed.
The midfielder joins the Portuguese side after a loan spell at Valencia last season.
Barcelona will receive 8.5 million euros for the transfer of Nico to Porto.

However, they have also inserted a buyback clause and a percentage of a future sale into his contract.
“FC Barcelona publicly expresses its gratitude to Nico Gonzalez for his commitment and dedication and wishes him luck and success in the future”, writes the club as a farewell message.
21-year-old Nico came out of the La Masia academy and was expected to shine in the first team, but strong competition at Barça has changed the trajectory of his career.
