Official: James Rodriguez joins the tenth club in his career

James Rodriguez has joined Brazilian side Sao Paulo, his 10th club as a professional.

The Colombian has not played an official match for more than three months after leaving Olympiacos.

His last game was on April 9. During his stay in Greece, he played 23 games, 18 as a starter, scoring five goals.

James is working to improve his form for the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Colombia begin their trip in September against Venezuela in Barranquilla and Chile in Santiago.

The winger began his adventure in the European arena at Porto in 2010. He then had successful spells at Monaco, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

This was followed by short spells at Everton, Al Rayyan and Olympiacos.
