The Turkish club, Galatasaray, has officially confirmed the transfer of striker Mauro Icardi from Paris Saint-Germain, while also revealing the details.

After a season on loan, where they won the Turkish Super League title, Galatasaray has decided to finally buy Icardi.

The Turkish club has announced that it has reached a full agreement with Paris Sa int-Germain and the player, who was presented today (Sunday) at the Galatasaray facility.

“An agreement has been reached with the professional footballer Mauro Emanuel Icardi Rivero and his club Paris Saint Germain Football for the transfer of the player”.

“Consequently, a transfer fee of 10 million euros will be paid to the former club of the footballer, in installments spread over 4 seasons.”

“An agreement has been reached with the player for 3 seasons starting from the 2023-2024 season and a net seasonal fee of 6 million will be paid for each football season,” Galatasaray’s announcement states.

Otherwise, in the last season, Icardi scored 22 goals and 7 assists in 24 matches in the Turkish Super League or 23 goals and 8 assists in 26 matches in all competitions.
