Milan has been one of the most active teams this summer transfer window with the transfer of footballers.
The Rossoneri have received important names such as Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders, Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor and others.
One of Milan’s biggest stars, Rafael Leao, spoke about the transfer of young footballers and the objectives.
The Portuguese striker initially stated that he aims to win the Ballon d’Or and the Champions League with Milan until he feels he is the leader to lead the team.
“I think Milan is the right team where I can continue my career to realize my goals, to win the Ballon d’Or and the Champions League.”
“Milan helped me grow and win the title, now I feel like a leader and I have to lead the team. Last season we did well, but we suffered because of the alternatives”.
Furthermore, Leao has said that the approaches of footballers in the summer transfer window have strengthened him and that Milan will no longer suffer against the local rival.
“In the two matches with Inter, we suffered because we didn’t have players on the bench, unlike them. But, the approaches of this season have strengthened us and I am convinced that the situation has changed. We have got players who help us”, said the Portuguese attacker, among other things.
