Joao Cancelo is spending his final days as a Manchester City footballer, as his future lies in La Liga.
The Portuguese defender has finally reached a personal agreement to join the Catalan giant Barcelona.
The reigning Spanish champion has long been seeking the transfer of the Portuguese player, and they have finally reached a personal agreement.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that there is now an agreement between the parties, and the final deal between the two clubs is expected.
“Joao Cancelo has agreed to personal terms with Barcelona, he wants to move. Xavi has wanted the Portuguese player since January, and now negotiations are ongoing with Manchester City to find an agreement.”
“Barcelona’s plan was revealed, where a part of the budget from the sale of Ousmane Dembele will be used for the transfer of Joao Cancelo,” as stated in Fabrizio Romano’s announcement.
It is believed that City will accept an offer of around 30 million euros to allow the Portuguese player to transfer to Camp Nou.
