A deal has been completed between Chelsea and Brighton.

Chelsea h as reached an agreement to sign Robert Sanchez from Brighton, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein’s report.

The journalist further adds that the Blues will initially pay 20 million euros, with an additional nine million in bonuses.

“The Spanish representative is expected to undergo medical tests immediately,” Ornstein reported.

“Chelsea has targeted the 25-year-old as competition for Kepa following Mendy’s departure.”

A similar confirmation comes from another transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, stating that the deal has been completed.

The club still hopes to reach an agreement for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, who is next on their list, but the Seagulls are asking for over 100 million euros.
