Chelsea have expressed an interest in Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams, according to Fabrizio Romano, for a potential move this summer as talks over Moises Caicedo continue to drag on.
The transfer pundit has given an insight into what the Adams situation is and how it will affect the London outfit’s pursuit of Caicedo if the club sign the Leeds midfielder.
“Chelsea contacted Tyler Adams’ camp to inquire about the terms of the deal, exploring costs,” Romano said.
“He is one of the names being considered as the release clause of 25 million euros is available.”
“The focus remains on Moises Caicedo’s talks, a special agreement and a special story,” he added.
Adams is primarily a defensive midfielder, but can also play as a right back or right midfielder. At the age of 24, he is already the captain of the American national team and has enough experience in the Premier League.
