Declan Rice has started his adventure at the new club Arsenal with trophies.
The English midfielder joined the Gunners from West Ham United in the summer transfer window for a record fee of €116 million.
The 24-year-old expressed himself very happy that he managed to win the first trophy, after they defeated Manchester City 4-1 in the final after the execution of penalties.
“I am excited, I am shaking with emotions, I am really very happy. When you face Manchester City, you have to be patient, as against them you have several mini-matches within the match.”
“The coach had warned us about the dangers that would come to us from them. I’ve improved a lot in the last three weeks, I feel it. I’m learning new things, I’m growing thanks to the coach’s demands,” declared Rice.
Rice believes this is just the beginning, as he says they can accomplish any goal they set before themselves.
“I am sure that we can achieve every objective this season. It’s enough to stay focused and not lose concentration”, said the English midfielder.
