Chelsea are finalizing the transfer of Adams

Moises Caicedo remains Chelsea’s main midfield target, but the Blues are still looking for more reinforcements.

According to The Athletic, the London club are ready to activate the €25 million release clause of Tyler Adams to Leeds United.

The midfielder, who moved to the Premier League in the summer of 2022, had zero goals and assists in 24 games last season.

With Leeds relegated in the 2022/23 season, Adams, who captains the United States national team, is likely to join Chelsea.

The player is said to have reached a personal agreement with Chelsea, now it is expected that the two teams will finalize the transfer.

The agreement is expected to be completed this week – while Mauricio Pochettino wants the transfer of Caicedo to be completed this week as well.
