Chelsea reveal the new numbers, there are big changes in the list

Chelsea has revealed the new numbers of footballers for the 2023/24 season.

Christopher Nkunku was the first new arrival at Stamford Bridge this summer and the Frenchman has taken the number 18 shirt, while fellow striker Nicolas Jackson will wear the number 15.

The French defender who came to Chelsea from Monaco, Axel Disasi, has taken the jersey number 2.

Spanish goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, transferred from Brighton, will wear the number 31 shirt.

Meanwhile, the footballers who were part of Chelsea last season have also changed their numbers.

The number 10 has been entrusted to the Ukrainian super talent Mykhaylo Mudryk who last season wore the number 15 jersey.

Chelsea’s most expensive signing, Enzo Fernandez, has ditched the number five shirt for the number eight.

Raheem Sterling will wear the number seven shirt, while Noni Madueke will wear the number 11 on his back. The Albanian striker Armando Broja has also changed his number and will wear 19 from now on.
