Manchester United set to sell two midfielders to make room for Amrabat

Manchester United could speed up the signing of Sofyan Amrabat after Fenerbahce submitted a formal offer for Fred, while talks are advanced with Real Sociedad for Van de Beek.

The Red Devils are working to overhaul their squad and adapt it to coach Erik ten Hag and are looking to significantly strengthen their midfield this summer.

They are in the process of agreeing the double sale of Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay to West Ham, but more sales are on the horizon.

Fenerbahce have tabled a total bid of €15m for Fred and his sale will push Manchester United back into the transfer market.

Fabrizio Romano outlines how Manchester United will focus on bringing in a new midfielder after Fred was sold to Fenerbahce and Donny van de Beek was sent to Real Sociedad on loan.

Their main target is Amrabat, who has been patiently waiting for them in Florence.

The 26-year-old Moroccan has entered the last year of his contract with Fiorentina and is expected to be sold by the end of the month.
