Paris Saint-Germain chiefs are not ruling out the possibility that Kylian Mbappe could end up signing a new deal with the club, AS’s Andres Onrubia reports.
The Parisians have managed to restore contact with the player. The player’s entourage have indicated their willingness to meet the club’s bosses in the coming days.
In addition, the 24-year-old still aims to fulfill his current deal with PSG which expires next summer. He will not announce his desire to leave.
The club are now considering offering him a new contract with an ‘exit clause’ that would allow him to leave PSG at a certain point while his contract is still in place.
On Saturday, Kylian was present in the VIP lounge at the Parc des Princes where PSG faced Lorient in Ligue 1. He also paid a visit to the dressing room, which was received as a noble gesture by the club’s management.
Real Madrid continues to be silent about Mbappe’s move. Many are expected to try to sign him in the last days of the summer transfer window.
