L’Equipe, the most respected sports newspaper in the world, has announced that Neymar is leaving PSG after six years.
By moving to PSG at the time for 222 million euros, he became the most expensive footballer in history.
“Neymar has agreed everything with Al-Hilal regarding the terms of the two-year contract. He will receive 160 million euros. Now PSG and the Saudi club in Paris are negotiating the compensation. Neymar’s departure from PSG is certain,” writes the well-known medium.
However, in six years at PSG, he played just 186 games. He missed more than 100 of them due to injuries, remaining with his 105 goals and 76 assists at PSG.
His performance during his stay in Paris is considered insufficient for a player paid more than €1 million gross per week by PSG.
Al-Hilal has offered players like Kalidou Koulibaly (Chelsea), Ruben Neves (Wolves), Sergej Milinković-Savic (Lazio) and Malcom (Zenit).
