Chelsea beat Liverpool for Lavia as well

Chelsea has also defeated Liverpool for the transfer of Romeo Lavia.

After signing Mosies Caicedo for a record fee of 128 million euros, the Blues have now reached an agreement with another midfielder.

“Romeo Lavia has decided to join Chelsea as his new club and the beginning of his career. This has been communicated to Southampton – ready to close the deal between the clubs”, reports Fabrizio Romano.

“Chelsea are prepared to pay a €55m fixed fee plus add-ons, according to David Ornstein”.

Liverpool had made offers for both players, but both preferred the Blues’ project.
