It has been suggested for several weeks that the Bosnian has agreed personal terms with the Turkish club and is keen to make the move.

However, the Rossoneri have no intention of selling, especially after Ismael Bennacer suffered a serious injury and Sandro Tonali was sold to Newcastle United.

The asking price was always a minimum of ten million euros and with so l ittle time left to find a suitable replacement, it was reported in Italy today that it would rise to 12-15 million euros.

This will cause tension for coach Stefano Pioli and his squad just days before the start of the Serie A season, where they face Bologna.

Krunic was bought from Empoli in 2019 for €8.6 million and his contract at San Siro runs until June 2025.
