Catalan club Barcelona have made an offer for defender Joao Cancelo and this could convince Manchester City to allow the Portuguese to leave.
According to Diario Sport journalist David Bernabeu, Barcelona’s offer is a loan with an option to buy for 30 million euros at the end of the season.
This clause will only be binding if certain objectives are met by the player – for example, reaching the last 16 of the Champions League or playing 70 percent of Barca’s official matches this season.

Barca and Manchester City have yet to reach a final agreement on the move. Citizens definitely want to part with the Portuguese, so they would like the buyout clause to be mandatory.
Cancelo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, are pushing really hard to get the move done as soon as possible.
The 29-year-old right-back is out of favor with Manchester City. Last season he was on loan at Bayern Munich.
