The right-back position has been a long-standing concern for Real Madrid, as neither Dani Carvajal nor long-term outfielder Lucas Vazquez have been able to perform consistently well.
Some of the names have been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu recently. One of them is Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen.
During one of his recent interviews, the Dutch defender was asked if he would like to play alongside Vinicius Junior one day, to which Frimpong replied in the affirmative.
“Oh yes, of course I would. He is a great player. Who knows, maybe one day it will happen”, stated Firmong.
The market value of Frimpong is 40 million euros. His deal with Leverkusen expires in 2025, so next summer, when he will be in the final year of his contract, could be a chance for Los Blancos to sign him.
Last season, the right-back scored nine goals and provided 11 assists in 48 appearances for the German club.
