Clubs from Saudi Arabia are making a real splash in the football transfer market this summer, having managed to land some of the biggest stars, but not goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
The Juventus goalkeeper clearly and loudly rejected the possibility of him moving to this country to play football.
“Offer from Saudi Arabia? I have earned enough in my life. I prefer fun challenges and defending the goal of Juventus is the best possible challenge”, said Szczesny first.
The Pole was a frequent subject of the Italian media this summer, who constantly moved him from one club to another.
“I have read very little about myself and the only thing I know is that all these texts can hardly touch me.”
“I will be a Juventus player as long as they want me. The desire to win back the Scudetto is getting bigger and bigger. We are frustrated that we haven’t won trophies recently, because this club is used to winning,” concluded the Pole.
The experienced goalkeeper of the Polish national team has decided to stay loyal to the “Old Lady”, whose goal he has been protecting since 2017 and recently he signed a new contract until the end of the summer of 2025.
