Inter and Olympique Marseille have reached a total agreement for the transfer of Joaquin Correa, who will undergo medical tests with the Ligue 1 team tomorrow (Friday).

The 29-year-old Argentine striker is leaving the Lombardy capital after an unconvincing two-year spell, having joined from Lazio in a deal worth around €30m.

Correa scored just 10 goals and five assists in 77 appearances in all competitions for Inter, leaving no mark on Simone Inzaghi’s side.

According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have now reached a total agreement with Marseille for the sale of Correa, who is expected to move on a loan deal with a conditional commitment of €15m.

On the other side is Alexis Sanchez, who will return to the Nerazzurri after a year in the French Championship at Marseille.

The 34-year-old Chilean striker left the club on a free transfer last month, having scored 18 goals in 44 appearances in total.
